SELLER INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Items must be entered and tags printed by 11:00 pm, April 6th . The online system will close at 11:01 pm so we can prepare for our sale.
2. Seller must register and enter tag information and print tags from the automated, online system. No hand printed or edited tags will be accepted. Tags must be printed on white cardstock.
4. Clothing must be in excellent condition with no holes, stains or heavy wear. Items not in excellent condition will not be accepted. Socks, shoes and undergarments must be in like new condition.
5. All clothes are to be hung on hangers with the hanger hook turned away from the sales tag. This includes pants (not folded), pajamas, onesies, undershirts, sleepers, towels and sheets. The sales tag is to be attached with SAFETY PINS on the left front shoulder of the garment. Clothing sets may be pinned together using one sales tag per set. Please make sure the tags are attached securely and correctly. Time constraints prohibit changes once receiving of sale items begins. Items without a tag will not be accepted.
6. Please place the following items in ziplock bags: shoes, small toy parts, books & puzzles when possible, underwear and socks.
7. Toys, games & puzzles must have all working pieces and batteries, if needed.
8. Guns will not be accepted.
9. NO stuffed animals are accepted.
10. Baby blankets should be folded once and hung securely with safety pins on a hanger.
12. Large equipment must be displayed; pictures will not be accepted.
13. We recommend that car seats NOT be more than three (3) years old.
14. Please check the CPSC website (www.cpsc.gov) for recalled products.
The Mary Queen Kids’ Consignment Committee reserves the right to reject or pull any questionable toys/games/books/cd’s/movies or any item that does not meet our standards.
Other Items 1. For books, puzzles, games, videos, and DVDs, prevent the package from tearing by wrapping items in Cling Wrap or place in a Ziploc bag first before taping your tag to the item.
2. Place toys with small parts in Ziploc bags, tape shut and then securely tape to the item they go with.
3. Use clear, see through bags. Ziploc makes super size bags now that are very easy to use.
4. Please do not place tape directly on books or puzzles as it often damages the product when removed.
Other Important Tagging Information 1. Please make sure that items are tagged securely. Remember-we are not responsible for unsold goods due to lost tags.
2. Mary Queen School will not be responsible for losses or damages.
3. All prices need to be in .50 cent increments only (for example: $1 or $1.50)
4. Price competitively-would you pay that amount for the item? A good rule of thumb is 1/3 of the new price for best condition, 1/4 of the new price for fair condition.
5. Saturday is 50% Reduction Day. You can choose if you want your items reduced when entering into the system. We strongly advise that you exercise this option-it's better to take home a larger check than a stack of unsold items!
6. Items do not need to be in any special order before entering into the computer, but we do need them in gender order before bringing them to the sale. Items should be placed together to make the check-in process go smoothly.
7. Iron clothing items or use Downy Wrinkle Releaser to make them look their best. The better your items look, the better they will sell!
